A serial killer can be defined as a person who commits a series of murders, often with no ostensible motive and typically following a characteristic, prognosticable comportment pattern. There are forms of serial killers predicated on the type of malefaction they commit are as follows: thrill seekers, mission-oriented, visionary killers, and power/control seekers. Thrill seekers are serial killers that visually perceive outsmarting the law as some scarcely regalement. They relish attention from the media and they additionally relish being pursued by the police. They can be distinguished from other serial killers because of the fact that they send messages to others and they keep detailed records of their killings.
