Compare and Contrast The movie of Rikki-tikki-tavi and the book are similar and different in many ways. It is about a mongoose that is found far away from his home because of a flood. He was taken by a family and cared for. He discovered two cobra snakes named Nag and Nagaina. These are the differences and similarities of the book and movie of Rikki-tikki-tavi. This is explaining the book of Rikki-tikki-tavi. The problem was at the very beginning of the book. Rikki-tikki-tavi met Nag and Nagaina. They wanted to kill Rikki-tikki and the family that was taking care of him because they wanted the house all to themselves for their eggs. The climax is when Nag was trying to kill the dad of the family Rikki-tikki killed Nag instead. Then while Rikki-tikki and Nag were fighting to the death the big man came in with his gun and shot Nag in two after he was dead. Nagaina didn’t know that it was Rikki-tikki who killed Nag, she thought that it was the big, old man. The resolution is when Rikki-tikki and Nagaina were fighting and Nagaina had the last of her baby eggs in the mouth. The problem was almost in the middle of the movie. Rikki-tikki-tavi met Darzee and his wife after Nag had eaten one of the baby birds that fell out of the nest. Rikki-tikki met Nag and Nagaina. They had been wanting to kill the family that ;had been living there for awhile. The climax is when at night Nag had gone into the bathroom to kill the big man. He wrapped himself around a bucket. Rikki-tikki jumped onto the back of his neck to paralyze him so that he could not strike at him. He had killed Nag. The resolution is when Nagaina had found out what happened to Nag. Rikki-tikki had destroyed all of the baby eggs but one. Rikki-tikki had chased Nagaina into her snake hole with her last egg in her mouth. While in the hole Rikki-tikki had killed Nagaina.
