"What's the motto?" "Nothing. What's the motto with you?" I laugh, not for the first, or tenth, but for the thousandth time, Timon never fails to ignite the childish spark in my eyes. This Disney classic, along with many others, made me fall in love with the whimsical world of animation. At the tender age of 6 I can remember vividly deciding, "I want to do that." I wanted to create something that people would remember for years, share for generations, and relate to for a lifetime. I wanted to evoke the sadness the audience felt when Bambi lost his mother, the anger the audience felt when Scar betrayed his own brother, the joy the audience felt when Woody finally made it to Andy, and the respect the audience felt for the hard working Princess
