The Titanic demonstrated the bravery and sacrifice it went through, portraying a devastating part in history, that involved human error and mother nature. It was made to sail to the New World, but instead has left the world in memory. It was at an entrance to new beginnings for people, to start fresh in New York, America. Though there is still hope of finding more about its features and how its tragic ending came to be, explorers are taking high risks to get a better look at its features and clues to indicate what else would have prevented such tragic ending. The Titanic held new futures for many of the people on the ship, sailing to the new world, to start a new beginning in New York, America. Bruce Ismay, who was the president of the White Star Line of passenger ships, and Lord Pierre, chairman of Harland & Wolff shipbuilder They planned on making three enormous ships, all would be for competition in the Atlantic passenger trade, describing them as luxury and comfort (Stephan 5). Those three ships were named,The Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic, all made for different purposes and each had different destinies in the end. The Britannic was converted into a hospital ship, but then retired in 1935 and was put in the scrap yard later on (5). During WWⅠ, The Olympic was requested to serve as a troopship and later was attacked four times by German submarines (5). She then was later broken up in 1935 and her remains were sold. All three of them served a great purpose, in helping people with their lives.
