In the Novel “Hush Hush,” by Becca Fitzpatrick it starts out with the prologue introducing patch as a stranger Chancey meets on the streets. Patch forces him to swear his loyalty and to promise him to allow him to be sevice for two weeks in the Hebrew month in Chevestan. In the beginning of the novel Nora is in her 10th grade biology class and her teacher “Coach” moves seats so that most students are sitting with a stranger. Nora gets seated by Patch and Coach tells them they have an assignment to find out as many things about their new partner. When Nora starts to ask questions to patch so she can finish her assignment patch just completely ignores her causing her to have to chase him into Bo’s arcade after school.
