A personality disorder is a psychological abnormality that is defined by the characteristics of being unusually extreme, very problematic, and a tendency to have behaviors that affect social relationships. In addition to these symptoms, an individual may be ego-syntonic, viewing everyone except themselves as the issue. These symptoms are diagnosed at an early age, and if found they will possibly affect them in early adulthood.
