In conclusion, Tomoe Gozen was a very strong and independent woman who didn't allow gender to affect her choice to become the very best samurai. However, her blind loyalty to her lord led her into some very dangerous situations. Tomoe Gozen was heroic because she put her life on the line, every time she went out to battle.
