Donald Crump is the owner of Crumpy's Hot Wings, which is located in Memphis, Tennessee. On November 3rd, Crump was accused of choking Rinesha Moore, an ordinary customer, for complaining about her cold fries. According to the article, Moore was late picking up her food. When she arrived at the restaurant, she asked for fresh fries and Crump carelessly rejected her request. The two got into an argument which led to Moore throwing her food on the floor.

The Story of Maci Kean When you think of people in a kid’s life, you probably imagine two parents, siblings, friends, and teachers. What you don’t typically think is a social worker, a judge, foster homes and a dead mother and father. This became the case for the then 15-year Maci Kean, as well as over 100,000 kids in the United States. Mohandas Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869, in what is now the Indian state of Gujarat. Also known as Mahatma, a title of respect which means “Great Soul” in Sanskrit – the language of Hinduism and Buddhism, he was the child of a minister; his mother was a devoted practitioner of Vaishnavism – an ascetic religion governed by the tenets of self-discipline and nonviolence. The White Tiger In the novel The White Tiger, Adiga points out at the corrupt Indian society, using the narrator Balram Halwai. Born in a poor village, Balram starts life in the lower caste and rises to the top later in his life. Balram uses the metaphor of the Rooster Coop to explain how oppressed the poor of the India are. Balram knows that he needs to break out of the coop to get from the Darkness to the Light. The Rooster Coop holds back Balram from making his own decisions and succeeding, but as soon as he escapes from the coop, he becomes one of the winners in society.
Aravind Adiga is the most significant novelist in the Indian Writing in English. The novel The White Tiger provides a perception of India’s struggle told through a narration from the protagonist, Balram Halwai, a village boy to the Chinese Premier His Excellency Wen Jiabao during seven nights. In detailing Balram’s journey first to Delhi, where he works as a chauffeur to a rich landlord, and then to Bangalore, the place which he flees after killing his master and stealing his money, the novel examines issues of religion, caste, loyalty, corruption and poverty in India. The misery and problems of this part of ‘dark India’ are compounded by the corrupt Indian political and bureaucratic set-up.
The land owners, the industrialists and the upper classes have always dominated and oppressed the poor, servants and other unprivileged class. Their voices have been silenced and are subjected to exploitation and humiliation. Adiga’s The White tiger (2008) records the story of an oppressed, Balaram Halwai and his big fabricated events that structure the novel. The novel throws light on the darkenss of India articulating voice to the voiceless and induces hopes in the life of hopeless. Balram Halwai, the protagonist, a strong voice of the underdogs resitas to get a respectable place in life and shakes the very foundation of the system.
