Torrance Green is a short 5’7 man with brown hair, glasses, light brown skin that glistens in the light, greenish brown eyes, with bushy facial hairs. Working as a real estate officer, he works at home and in the office; he seems to love his job. He grew up in the south side of Chicago in a three floor apartment with his mom and grandma. He never had someone that told him to work harder; he had to pave the way for himself. He’s really hard working and will do anything to accomplish his goals and dreams. He’s come along way to become the person he is today. As he seated for the interview, in his face it showed confidence about the questions going to be asked. It was about 8 o’clock at night which the interviewed started and it was clear that he was tired but he was mentally and physically in the room ready to answer the questions. The interview took place in a quiet room with bright lightening. We were facing face to face as we began. He informed me that his mom inspired him in college. I asked him how he views college he said,” he viewed it as a great opportunity to learn different things in order for me to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.”He explained that he wanted to “focus on Management” because he didn't know what field he wanted to lean towards. When i asked him how did his daily lifestyle get affected by college he said,” I didn’t have my mother pushing me to do my best; I had to get accustomed to motivating myself when no one else was around.” Since he knew that there was no one to push him he had to work hard everyday by himself. Following that question I asked him what kinds of decisions he made and with confidence he said,”One of the biggest decisions I made was the decision to never give up no matter how hard something was.” College and life in general is filled with hundreds of decisions and
