Would you like to know how you are able to expand your company? By getting more customers to buy your product. In the commercial, called fable that sells cars, it tells the story of the hare and the tortoise that uses the car to win the race at the end of the commercial (American Abilities Television Network, 2015). Therefore gives the idea that by owning a Mercedes Benz can give ability cheat in a race. Through an evaluation of cast, message, and branding, fable should be replaced because the company does not effectively advertise the product. The casts of the commercial are from the famous story of the hare and tortoise. The main characters are the hare and tortoise, yet only the turtle uses the product in the commercial. They do not talk about the product, only utilize it to race and cheat to win the race. The character are animals. They are not able to buy the product and do not have much connection with it. In the commercial have a girl hare that is not loyal to the boy hare therefore, it may lead to be offensive to women, saying they will only go with the winner only and at the beginning at the girl kiss the hare for good luck, mostly she is being objective. Saying that only the winner will get the girl. Also states that a mercedes is the only way women with a person. So like the hare, with no car will lose the race and girls too. Moreover the hare, he can be seen as selfish, big ego, fast, and hundred percent sure he will win the race, yet he is not a cheater like the turtle. The turtle is smart, however he cheats and uses a car to win race, and steal the girl hare from boy hare. The once good turtle from the original story.
