In a health care setting the total quality would consist of effectiveness of treatments and the patient satisfaction with the service. Total quality management should focus on the patient because they are the ones to evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of the treatments. Quality management requires strong leadership roles within the organization among the executive. Everyone in the organization should try to accomplish a common goal.
