In the case of a tragic event humans always try to find someone to blame this happening on. In the play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet (as the name implies) there is a big tragedy at the end, but who caused this whole situation in the first place. Sense we can’t blame the obvious problem which is poor thinking and just overall poor use of common sense we have to resort to the person who advises their poor thoughts. As we see multiple times throughout the play the friar allows the couple to make quite idiotic mistakes on more than one subject which all ultimately contribute to the downfall of the young couple.
