Imagine stepping out onto the stage,the lights are beaming, the music is booming, the crowd is roaring, and all that you can think are the words, “This is it!”. World athlete Kennedy Thames is just what you would call the perfect cheerleader. She puts in all the hard work, she has one of the best personalities, and she has an enormous passion for what she does finest. Just imagine how hard someone has to work to become the chief at something. Kennedy Thames a 17 year old athlete does just this. She works in the gym 4-8 hours a day, everyday of the week. What I look up to and admire about Kennedy is that she will work as diligently as she can no matter the circumstances. For example, one day Kennedy had incapacitated her foot while tumbling, but she refused to quit, because no matter what she was going to work as persistent as she could until her team reached the top. However, she doesn’t get to go to school because of cheer therefore she is home schooled. Cheer has become her number one goal and she will work harder and harder everyday. …show more content…

Every time you look at her, she has a smile on her face. If she has just completed the toughest practice of her career, she will still leave the gym grinning every time.
