The Triple Tormentum Tormentum: Dark Sorrow was made by three developers and it is much more graceful, beautiful, and engaging than many triple A (AAA) games. The artwork involved in the game made it a game beautiful to look at. The time and dedication given by the developers caused this game to become a hit with indie gamers and became an example of how a small team could make a better game than a full company. Indie games like Torment: Dark Sorrow are becoming just as popular and wanted than AAA games. The team had a goal to entertain and please instead of the goal of making a profit which is why it was a success. Tormentum: Dark Sorrow became a popular Indie game because of its dedication. It was not a company or a specific product but an independent project. This Indie game seemed to be more giving and beautiful than famous Triple A games. These Triple A games have the goal to make a profit while these three developers wanted to share a very intricate game with detailed art and story and were driven by dedication and not profit. A AAA game could range from $20-$80, while Tormentum: Dark Sorrow was available to purchase for $12 with many features like beautiful environments, intricate characters, moral choices, a fitting soundtrack and throughout gameplay. Some Triple A games may only offer two or, if the consumers are lucky, half of those features. Going into any career, project, or goal dedicated, with the intent to make it the best, and to be happy with what you are doing then it/they have the potential to be a success.
