It’s not always as it seems: Truth and Deception Webster Dictionary defines truth as the real facts about something. Deception means to make people believe something that is not true. In the case of the olive oil, both of these are correct. The claim is that as long as the olive oil is processed by Italians it can be called Italian olive oil. Flippo not only labeled with imported from Italy, it even has an Italian sounding name. In reality though, this olive oil is not from Italy it is from Spain, Greece, and Tunisia. Consumers want olive oil from Italy because everyone knows it is supposed to be the finest highest quality. Is it okay for a company to lie to customers because it 's still the same product?
