In Tuesday’s with Morrie, Morrie tells a lot of aphorisms that give messages according to life and can be applied to concepts of daily life. “Accept what you are able to do and not what you are not able to do” (p. 18) this is one of many Morrie’s aphorisms and anybody can apply this not just one person, but it takes determination and self-confidence to be successful in life and these aphorisms can help guide anybody through life, including my own.
“Accept the past, without denying it or discarding it.” (p.18)
Actions from the past could disrupt daily life even the future, but should not be bothered by it and grow from it and create a better future. Everybody has regrets but we (as people) tend to bring ourselves down with those regrets and wish we could turn back time and fix things, which everything happens for a reason good or bad. For myself, of course there are things I would change but those actions or decisions have changed the way I was and the way I used to think, there’s always a rainbow in every storm. There will always be things from the past that we may or may not like especially things we don’t like but regretting, denying, and discarding it

They key to life is to live and die happily but with regrets still running around how is it possible to live and die with such happiness? As Morrie says, forgive yourself for the things that you’ve done and not necessarily liked it afterwards, at least give yourself some peace in mind knowing you didn’t want things turning out the way they did. Next is to forgive others, we are humans and humans make mistakes and lots of them and we need to understand that and it is easy to forgive someone but it takes a great mind set and truly believe that you forgive them for whatever he/she has done. Forgiving yourself and others before dying is important to living and dying
