Behind the meaning of love, life, and compromise
Do you know the meaning life? In Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie is a professor who takes is a class in his house every Tuesday. Morrie does not give grades and books are not require. A student of his named Mitch takes classes with him later when Mitch graduates he makes a promise to Morrie. That promise was to keeping in touch with his professor, but Mitch didn't keep that promise. It wasn't until Mitch was Morrie in a television show called “ Nightlife” Where he talked about death. Morrie developed a sickness called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as (ALS). ALS is a disease that affects nerve cells in the brain as well the spinal cord. Mitch starts to visit his professor the sickness progresses as time goes on. Mitch and Morrie met once again every Tuesday they would discuss regret, health, money and love. The reason is if they remember you as a bad person they might hold grudges against you for all the bad things you did to them. For example, my mom's grandmother was mean to my mom and aunts at all times. There would be times they were exploited and abused as a child. My mother was only eight years old, and her sisters were the ages between seven to eleven years old. My mother remembers those days as if it’s today, but all those memories are bad memories. Every day there were woken up at five o’clock in the morning to clean her grandma's garden. The garden had to be spotless. In addition, they had to go to school in the afternoon from one in the afternoon until six o’clock. Great-grandmother would make them cook and make tamales, atole and would tell them “ If you burn the atole I will burn you with the spoon.” Great grandmother was wealthy she would often say they shouldn't leave back to their mother's house if they did, the result would
