Two Paragraphs of Analysis: My characters are represented by their attire, physical attributes, and the things they enjoy doing. Each element and symbol compliment each other to make one whole rounded character. One element that shows a difference between the characters is color; the portrait of me has a variety of colors, while my foil is drawn in black and white. The contrast in color between the portraits show that I am usually optimistic and content while the lack of color in my foils suggests that he is solemn and somber. Additionally, with my foil, he has his hands behind his back, which shows that he is more of a secretive person rather than very sociable. Also, on my character, the clothes I'm wearing are casual and wrinkled, while my foil is wearing more formal apparel of a collared shirt and jeans. However, I did not draw myself holding a large boombox, as that would suggest that I enjoy being in the center of attention. On the other hand, my foil is wearing headphones, showing that he also listens to music, but is more secluded and private as he is wearing headphones. Additionally, as I am smiling and wearing vibrant attire, that suggests that my music is joyful and uplifting while my foil’s serious expression indicates that he listens to mellow, yet gloomy music. With music, another activity I enjoy is photography. On my character, I have a camera strapped onto me which illustrates that I am focused similar to how a camera focuses clearly on the main subject. On the other spectrum, my character foil has a pair of glasses in his pocket also revealing his wiseness and an unclouded view of the world.
