Diabetes is one of the commonest diseases in the world and the United Arab Emirates is one of the highest prevalence of the disease due to several factors which identified and all governmental sectors worked together to reduce the prevalence of disease. Pre-diabetes is a risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes with no symptoms, in addition the type 2 diabetes is a metabolic syndrome, which can be diagnosed earlier and treated so with the support of the community and the government that’s will reduce development of diabetes, so it can be prevented and reduce the complication diseases, and will be, and will be concentrated on this factor.
