In the film we see a scene where Jane has come up with an idea to save Ray money and this is to use powered milkshakes as it will save electricity costs, Ray likes this idea and suggests it to Mac and Dick but they do not like it and tell Ray that they will not serve that to their customers. But Ray goes against them and supply’s each MacDonald’s restaurant with powdered milkshakes except Mac and Dicks, this was an unethical act from Ray as he did not abide by the contract with Mac and Dick because the contract says that every decision made and idea for the MacDonald’s business has to be arrived by Mac and Dick and this …show more content…
In the film there was also a scene where Ray says ‘contracts were made to be broken’ this is a very unethical statement from Ray as you are meant to abide by a contract as it states all terms and conditions and is there for a reason. Unethical behaviour also occurs when Ray told Jane and Rollie Mac and Dicks story of how they came up with the restaurant MacDonald’s but he told the story as though he was Mac and Dick and he came up with the idea and name, Ray tells a number o people that it was his idea. Ray also uses the MacDonald’s name in one his companies which he makes without asking Mac and Dick permission to use their name he just stole it he also uses a stamp with MacDonald’s on it this is also unethical as he is taking someone else’s work and uses it as his own its like piracy. Ray calls himself the founder when he really
