In addition to these new methods of transportation, inventions dealing with mass production also provided the fruits necessary to industrialize America at a rather fast pace. For example, interchangeable parts, so popular in the past century, became even more effective through machinery such as the assembly line created by Henry Ford which later allowed for the Model T to be built, furthering new modes of transportation.
