One of the many social problems London faces is the use of substance abuse and lack of education system in kids facing poverty. It is worth noting that children who go through financial problems at home turn to substance abuse, gangs, and violence, while walking away from the education system. These children are our target group for our S4D program. The lack of programs and resources have negatively impacted the youth of London. These young children are the future of the city and have no support in finding a successful path that can greatly influence the lives around them. Our S4D program will help renovate low-income suburbs so these children and teenagers have an opportunity to better themselves. By implementing a facility where these kids can go to throw a ball and learn the game of football, we will be keeping them out of trouble while also promoting the game. 700,000 children are under the poverty line in London. Most have single parents who work all day to keep food on the table. If we can help keep the kids out of trouble, families see that the NFL is more than scandals and they will be pleased to support the game of football, which is essentially what we want for the NFL. Establishing a facility that will not only impact the lives of the children, but also the city because it will bring financial resources and a positive turnaround. Football is not just a game, it creates leaders and positively changes lives. Our program will be designed to create a change of life and behavior for these young kids and their families. Instead of only having one choice in participating in gangs and violence, we can give them an alternative option of having fun and a purpose to succeed in life. They can talk about their lives and how football along with a big amount of support has changed their lives. Participating in drills, playing games, coaching, etc., are many ways that can promote a positive influence and a sense of belonging for these kids. This will also show how the NFL cares about the future generation and families in need of change. Football will be highly supported and wanted from these families. Business will thrive and the image of the NFL will positively grow.
These kids are participating in physical activity and making new friends with the addition of football programs. They will be given positive support and attention rather than individuals who want them to do bad. The kids will not only learn about football, but also core concepts of life. The programs will also guide them in making right choices and give them knowledge about the negative influences out
