Focusing on the families within the community we live in, that is the value of a community bank. A community bank is much different than a national bank. Community banks connect and build personal relationships with their customers, which allows them to better understand individuals and local businesses wants and needs. They are more apt to provide loans to local small businesses and consumers, because they have that intimate relationship with the people in which they are working with. Furthermore, national banks do not stay involved and engaged within the area they are located, but community banks do.
