I graphed my answers for this question by adding together the types of foods found in each food group. Soya milk was classified under fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes as it contained no diary. Chips and pizza was classified under fats, oils and sweets as they are considered fats foods and therefore contained a lot of fats and oils. Quinoa was classified under bread, other cereals and potatoes as it is high in carbohydrates. From the results I can conclude that meat, fish and meat alternatives was the most popular food group for the group that was surveyed. Fats, oils and sweets was the least popular food group as they have a very high glycaemic index and so they could cause blood glucose levels to spike, which may lead to the person falling into a sugar induced comma as a diabetic is unable to produce the amount of insulin needed to reverse the glucose into glycogen. There was also a big difference in the amount of fruits, vegetables and legumes eaten daily compared to the amount of meat, fish and alternatives. Similar amounts of bread, other cereals and potatoes, and milk and dairy products were eaten
