Venice, Italy is a beautiful city, and is located in the north eastern part of Italy at the very top of the peninsula. The population is 400,000 people and continues to grow. Venice has a fairly mild climate. As the years went by, we have expanded the designated wildlife and city parks to ensure we have green life.
Some problems that there have been in the past include, flooding, elderlies not being able to get around, and running out of energy sources. For transportation, citizens mostly ride boats or ferries on the that are going on the canals in the city. For elderly people that have a wheelchair, there are ramps located around the canal for them to get off at. To prevent this issue from happening, we will have walls that stop the water from overflowing into the city. We have built many systems and technologies that assist older residents in doing their daily tasks. We have solutions for every risk in the city of Venice.
Our hydroponic farming is very futuristic. It is set up inside of our canals to save space and money. We grow our food in a small, man made cave under water. The gave is made up of biodegradable plastic, so we don't hurt the environment. The way is works is we have fish in those biodegradable caves which produce fertilizer for the plants. In turn this creates food and oxygen for the fish! This works well because this gives us more fish, and more fruits and vegetables. It is a win win for everyone! The engineers that are building will go to college and get a degree in engineering. We will conduct personal interviews for them. These questions will deal with what ideas they have for our city, how they plan to do them, and how they make our city a better place. Finally to ensure everyone is doing their part, we will do constant quality checks and we will talk to our employees about what they want to be fixed in our work
