The case of Veronica Harrington is very interesting. Veronica is a fictional character on a television series called The Have and The Have Nots. This show was written, created, and directed by Tyler Perry. The show is aired on the OWN network which is considered to be primetime television. Veronica plays the character of a wealthy African American woman that is a very successful lawyer, one of the best, married to a successful and handsome well-known judge named David Harrington. They have one son, Jeffrey, who works at his mother’s rehabilitation center as a substance abuse counselor. Veronica has battled many obstacles in her life one being a recovering alcoholic. Veronica is worried about what the public will think about her son and what they will think of her in regards to parenting skills and her marriage. Veronica thinks that intimidating, threatening, and blackmailing her own son and husband will keep them in line and doing what she wants him to do. Veronica went so far as to blackmail a young lady into seducing her son to “fix” him from his homosexuality and produce a child.
