I like the book because it shows that you can survive with something as little s a hatchet. It shows how easily everything can change in your life. This could be better if brain actually told his mom he knew her
He really takes the time to explain all of his thoughts thoroughly. He makes sure to give plenty of examples throughout the book. He even quotes politicians and he explains whether what they said is right or wrong. By doing this he tackles a number of myths and explains why they are not true. I found it intriguing how he compiles and deciphers his data.
A young boy whose only dream was to become a Jackboot is now crushed after experiencing the havoc and pain they put thousands of people through. A boy with no name, no family, and no record of his past is doing all he can to survive during World War ll. Stealing, hiding, rebelling and all at the age of eight. This boy is finally given the name of ‘Misha’ and he goes through disasters while meeting new people along the way. Everything is starting to go good for him again, but the day the trains come is the day his life changes for good.
The book itself never became too boring to keep reading. The amount of detailing Remarque used was extremely effective. It was long enough to keep a vivid picture in the reader’s mind of what was happening, and wasn’t too long as to become tedious. There is only one criticism that some may have of this particular novel. Remarque usually named the characters just by their last name, but that was not always the case.
He espouses a crisp, and articulate writing style that keeps you affected, engaged and curious about the characters and the story's path. I enthusiastically recommend this book, it is well worth the
A tornado destroyed a small town in Washington and a family was found murdered, leaving the town of Cherrystone devastated. In A Cold Dark Place by Gregg Olsen, the investigation for the killer of the Martin family and the search for son of the Martin family that made it out alive, along with detective Emily Kenyon’s daughter continues. I believe my book is one of the best books in the mystery and crime genres and would grade it a 9 out of 10, which is equivalent to an A-. In A Cold Dark Place, I took 1 point off of the grading portion due to the fact that it was confusing to track at the very beginning.
As can be seen on page 13 of the book, the omniscient narrator says “After a little rambling talk, the lawyer led up to the subject which so disagreeably preoccupied his mind…” This sentence is a perfect example of the fear muddled along the story . After examining, the word in bold represented the use of diction in this sentence. In comparison, another form to illustrate the idea of diction is when the author describe a place or an object. Page 14 “It was night of little ease to his toiling mind, toiling in mere darkness and besieged by questions.”
The book I chose to read for my book review was “ Killing Mr.Griffin”. It is about 5 high school students who hate their english teacher Mr. Griffin and come up with a plan to kidnap him. Their main purpose is to just torture and make Mr. Griffin think he is going to die. The plan takes a tragic turn and results in Mr. Griffin's death. The plan simply falls apart in a domino effect of terror and grief.
3. This book is one of the great classics of literature. It’s impact on modern pop culture and the modern horror genre are outstanding. I am very glad I read this book. I adore all the little details in this book that make you wonder if it could ever be real.
I believe this book easily earns this rating because she wrote about a tough and somber subject and yet it was still enjoyable for the reader. Xia not only changed my perspective about mental illness but she also informed me how to help others suffering from the same illnesses. The pictures and FAQ at the end of the book make this book even more special and relatable. In conclusion, I believe this book is written for many different types of audiences.
The book and movie that I read is called The Lion, The Witch ,and The Wardrobe. It was written by C.S Lewis, and the movie was produced by Andrew Adamson. The book and the movie were about this family who had to move because of Air Raids. There were two brothers named Peter and Edmund and two sisters named Susan and Lucy. They stay in a profferer 's house.
I rate it a 10/10 I am looking forward to reading it
The writers ' fundamental objective is to delight and engage the audience, as well as to take the reader on an adventure brimming with intense plot twists. The creator accomplishes her objective. For me the book is composed clearly because of its simple yet y descriptive
No matter what the critics say there’s no denying the fact that he knows how to write a story and a good one at that. His choice of the theme, the locales, the paintings is all exquisite and enchanting directly transporting the readers to the place of action in the novel. Also, the intelligent, agile yet the down-to-earth professor protagonist always takes our heart away with his insight, wit and cleverness. Brown effortlessly manages to please all the feminist readers and supporters alike by portraying his women in a strong light instead of the usual sexual one. He brings the complete package to us, the murder, the mystery, the threat and everything else.
literary analysis: Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets I’ve read Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets, a book written by J.K. Rowling. It’s the second book in a series of 7. The book is about Harry Potter, a 12-year-old wizard going to Hogwarts. This year, people are getting stupefied without anyone knowing the reason behind it.
