In recent years, a large amount of the things you buy and need to live can all be found in your nearest Walmart: Need diapers? Walmart. Need shampoo? Walmart. Need dog food? Walmart. You ask any young individual and they would say this looks like a monopoly, of course, it is much more complicated and there is some level of competition, but it still stands that this may seem like a monopoly. Like some sort of Goliath that continues to grow to no end. At least, that’s the message Robert Greenwald conveys in his documentary film “Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price”.
