A Disney Revolution Disney is one of the top entertainment companies in the world. After, several decades of perfecting their theme parks, movies, networks, resorts, and products: Disney still remains a world-renowned brand. The keys to their overwhelming success are their strategies, organizational structure, training techniques, social responsibility, and among the others is following the mold Walt Disney created. Since, then Disney has been releasing new movies every couple of years and now are in the process of adding Star Wars expansions into their Theme parks. Disney is covering several areas of their company, and getting a constant influx of money on this deal alone. The strategy of bringing old fans and new ones together, into movie theatres and theme parks, is one of the biggest advantages it has over its competitors. But it doesn’t stop with Lucasfilm; Pixar and Marvel are also top contributors of corporate franchises that bring Disney a lot of success. One that is apparent to all patrons of resorts, and parks is the notion “Never a Customer, always a Guest.” Patrons are always referred to as a guest, this belief started with Walt Disney. He believed that his guests were supposed to be treated with respect and honesty, and it started with changing the impersonal phrase “customer.” Historically, in the Walt Disney Corporation they give Cast Members an opportunity to grow within the company. The philosophy “Make Everyone’s Dream Come True” captures the part of Disney where they hire Imagineers to just innovate and create new ideas for the company.
