Twin City was incorporated in 1921, gets its name from the combining of two adjacent cities they are Graymont and Summit. Twin City began as two towns, Summit and Graymont, which merged in 1921 to survive the effects of the Great Depression. The small town of Summit began in 1886 with the construction of the Rogers and the Summit Railroad (Now the Millen Southwestern Railroad) and was incorporated in 1898. The town of Graymount established in 1896 and incorporated in 1900, was located one-mile from summit and had its own depot and post office. The two small towns of Summit and Graymount were incorporated into one town called Twin City in 1921 by an act of the Georgia legislature.
Compare and Contrast There has been a lot of controversy in Washington D.C. the past couple of years. The Washington Redskins have had a tough decision whether or not they were going to start Robert Griffin III or Kirk Cousins. The two quarterbacks were drafted in the same year, 2012, but different rounds, and the only team they have both played on is the redskins, and they also were both named offensive captains. Both of them have also led the Redskins to the playoffs. However, despite all of the similarities they are quite different.
One of my biggest roles I have played during my high school career was being a DECA Vice President. This position I took on Vice President of Communications. Being V.P. of Communication was something so special to me because the previous DECA officers felt that I would be one to fulfill the duties of V.P. of communications. The impact this made of my life was very heavy because I learned a lot and gained a deeper love for DECA. I have learned how to communicate with others more, manage time wisely, and plan accordingly.
Today I interviewed my Tia Maria, she is my mothers aunt who is 89 years old. Maria lives in old San Juan Puerto Rico with her daughter Suky. She has lived on the island all of her life. I had the privilege to interview her and learn some great facts about her life and listen to a couple of great stories about her good old days on the shorelines of Puerto Rico. I was pretty impressed on how they lived and how much they depended on the land for substance and gain.
They have an exhibit called, “Determined to Persevere.” It talks about the lives of soldiers during the winter encampment of 1777-1778. You can touch muskets, and even see how Washington lived in such tough conditions. They have programs inside the huts, to teach what it was like living in them. Washington’s headquarters are still there, and they replicated some buildings.
Therefore, I choose this place to visit and I am really pleased that i got to visit this wonderful place. This place is not like other places where you would get bored easily, but instead this is a very knowledgeable place and where someone can learn allot about the African Americans and their stories. Lastly, if I ever get a chance I would love to visit it
In simple words, the Metropolitan Museum of Art was beyond fabulous. I was shocked to see so many artifacts kept to this day. It was a all hay experience filled with wonders and intrigues. So many pieces of art are related to the books we read so far. I came across such extraordinary pieces such as various libation bowls; bronze statue of Poseidon; theatrical masks; and marble heads of Medea, Socrates and Homer.
Almost everyone said that they had learned how to get along and deal with situations no matter how hard it was. Most of all each person said everyone should do something to help our country weather its big or small. It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated, and I even got elected as an officer! Going through this whole thing showed me that, I can accomplish whatever I set my mind to. I put my energy and time into applying for office and it payed off. I overcame my worry and my nerves and I'm a better person for it.
As I did not get to tour the whole museum, I would like to return some time and take a tour of the entire grounds. This was my first time at a presidential library so I didn 't know what to expect but after visiting, I will try and see all the presidential libraries! Highly recommend to visit here if you

Attending the Civil Right Museum was a very enjoyable experience. The staff at the museum was very helpful, courteous, and offered a lot of insight about the exhibits. I could tell that they were educated about the issues of oppression that African American faced. The exhibit were very detailed, such as the sculpture were life like and the audio and visual displays seemed to almost take you back to those times, so attending these types of museums is often a very emotional experience for me. This museum in particular was hard for me to be in because Martin Luther King was actually killed there, so I felt overwhelmed at that thought and did not even view the room he was in prior to his death nor did I go into the room were the shots were fired that took his life.
I was highly impressed by the overall teamwork in the emergency department. It has a sense of organized chaos that would have taken me some time to adjust to. My nurse and I ended up going through a large group of patient during the time I was there. The nurse has this uniformity to how she would get her tasks done. The thing that through me off was the amount of stuff got done with our patients by other people.
As a result, over the following years, I developed a strong desire to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to obtain a career with the Department of State to fight international terrorism as a civilian. At the time, it felt like a long shot, as I had a great deal of work in front of me to make that type of career move. Namely, I was still in the process of achieving
What I have learned from experience and how it impacted me First and foremost, being in the United States Marine Corps for over 22 years I have learned a lot from experience. I learned just like in the military, in my civilian job now I am always on duty.
