The Garbage Affect
Do you know that we waste our time and energy on un-useful habits, but never think of the useful habits such as cleaning up our own pollution! I think of two things that come to mind when it comes to pollution, how insensitive are humans to not care about their own planet?
Why do we even talk about are waste and trash and how bad it is when we are not doing the actions that back up the words? Bill Mckibben author of “Waste Not Want Not” claims that we do not use our money to change pollution properly, we also have wasteful habits and do not utilize are energy to the point where it could ensure less pollution.

First of all We waste too much money on military by spending half a trillion dollars, instead of using it on saving our planet.

Secondly, We have wasteful habits such as using too much trash instead of reusing or recycling. Another fact is that we waste approximately 170,000 energizer batteries every 15 minutes, and yes not all of us are utilizing our time making the planet that we live in less polluted.Also to finish it of we do not do our jobs as citizens such as cleaning up after ourselves believe it or not, for an example Bill McKibben says “More than 46,000 pieces of plastic debris float on each square mile of ocean.(PG.305)”!

Lastly, we wasted our opportunity of using other peoples talents in the 150 years of industrial evolution, to add on we buy things that we don’t even use then later throw away , that’s why have craiglisting .
