Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana where water pollution gets overlooked daily by crimes like violent and property crimes. New Orleans focuses more on crimes that only protect certain civilians than the overall health of the entire city. Since water has more of a purpose and uses in everything we do and eat we should try harder to fight for this cause. We as people need to stand together and get the government attention. Try to convince Congress to pass a new law that would eventually cure all problems dealing with water pollution in the city. The United State Congress should enforce the Clean Water Act to prevent future water pollution in the city of New Orleans by filtering water that goes to our children and our farms.

This really illustrate the fact on how contaminated water have an impact on our children today. Even though it is unlikely for the water to go in a child nose if we can just get the act pass we could have safe water leading to a decrease in child danger. It also affect the adults to based on the fact only 3 out of 130 survived just to justify that no age is safe and should help fight to keep the city clean and save kids lives. “A brain-eating amoeba responsible for the death of a 4-year-old boy was discovered in the drinking water of St. Bernard Parish, La.’s water system, prompting the area to shut off access to drinking water.’’(Mint Press News Desk). This shows that we have many bacteria in our water that could harm our children bodies. With The Clean Water Act we can filter out the contaminated water that flows through the city and help save our children lives, so if we can get enough people to help fight to get this act pass we could live and happier and healthier
