“Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?” was said by Joseph Welch an attorney from Boston during the Army-McCarthy hearing in 1954. The Army- McCarthy hearing lasted for two months and McCarthy accused the United States Army for harboring communists since they refused tor give his consultant David Schine a special assignment. On June 9th of the trials McCarthy confronted army counsel Jeremy Welch by bringing up that Fred Fisher an attorney part of Welch’s law firm was part of a group with communist party associations.
