According to the article ‘What a Lifetime of Playing Football.’ by Brian Resnick, “Athletes who began playing tackle football before age 12 developed cognitive and behavior symptoms of CTE 13 years earlier than average than those who started playing later in their teenage years.” (par. 26) Playing tackle football in your earlier years of life can lead to a serious brain condition later in your life, causing both you and your family to be negatively affected.
