Washington was a genius on the battlefield and came up with helpful tactics. He also obtained the ability to keep his struggling army together. Washington not only lead his army, but guided, directed and motivated them to persevere and keep going.
During the Revolutionary Era, there were many people that impacted and changed the world for Americans today. One main person who impacted us today was George Washington. He built the structure of the United States Government today, and made laws to ensure people’s freedoms, and rights. George Washington was the first president of the United states and he fought for a stronger unity for the people then and that still impacts today. He believed that the country had great potential but they need to get over their differences in order to come together.
George Washington was significant because of all of the impacts he has made to the United states. Washington had a big impact on creating The Whisky Rebellion, with that being a big impact it was also social,political, and economic. The whiskey rebellion happened to everyone. Washington came part in this rebellion because of all the money he knew that was going to come back with him with everyone's taxes. Washington wanted to make everyone pay the same amount of money in taxes.

Being in charge of a nation is never easy no matter how much experience or prepared one is, issues are always going to arise whether it be political, economic,or social issues.
President George Washington knew that a lot of his accomplishments would be viewed as precedents. As being the first President, he set numerous precedents, a significant number of which are still being implemented today. He chose to be called Mr. President as opposed to the title of being called a King, he then created the Presidential Cabinet, established the term limit of two terms for Presidency and was first President to create foreign policy. It was known at the beginning of the Revolutionary War that America wanted to steer away from England's monarchy rule and move on to a better solution that was designed to protect the people. It was unclear, however, what that solution was. Once America had won its independence, there was little time for celebration. This new country now had to figure out how it was going to govern itself. With King George III gone, there were some very large shoes to fill, and a General George Washington was the man to fill them.
Although unrelatable and underappreciated in the eyes of modern history, George Washington shows his greatness through his character. Contemporary culture often neglects to recognise Washington’s greatness. That sums it up for why i believe that America 's third president, Thomas Jefferson was the strongest. He was one of the smartest men alive, he impacted our society for the better, and was a caring and selfless man when it came to making citizens happy.

Out of the three that are listed here I think that his part in the American Revolution was the most important. Without him we wouldn’t have a leader, nor would we have continued to fight on. This was the first step to our new nation and without him we would have given up/still be under British rule. People like Washington have given people a voice and has motivated them throughout the years. The greatest president that has ever served the United States is George Washington. He was not only the first president of the United States but also the commander in chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was victorious over the British and quickly became a hero doing so. He helped draft the constitution and with his leadership and courage. As first president, he become a role model for every other present succeeding him and helped create our countries values that we cherish so much today.

George Washington played an important role in starting the United States of America and making it into the great country that it is today. He was one of the generals during the American Revolution and was the first President of the United States of America. George Washington and the other Founding Fathers created the Constitution and made many decisions that made the United States into a great country. The Washington Memorial was built after George Washington died.
