George Washington had many impactful experiences that prepared him to become the President of the United States(P.O.T.U.S.). One of many impactful experiences that allowed George to successfully become President of the United States was that he was educated. George was home schooled for most of his life, but then later on went to an actual school. This allowed him to gain an education and prepared him by allowing to make wise decisions as P.O.T.U.S. In addition, George was prepared to become P.O.T.U.S, by previously serving as the head of the United States militia.
Based on my research of Martin Van Buren, I believe he succeeded in meeting the criteria of a good leader even though he was not the most popular President among the people of the United States. Not only was Van Buren a master politician, but he was also the person to create the union that later became the foundation of the Democratic Party. Before becoming the President, Van Buren served as President Andrew Jackson’s Secretary of State before becoming Jackson’s Vice President. After helping Jackson, he became the U.S. minister to Great Britain. Because of the many high positions he had throughout his life, he proved to the people of America that he was a good leader to later earn his position as the eighth President of the United States of America.

George Washington Carver who many refer to as the “peanut man” was more than just what his nickname suggests. Throughout his lifetime, Carver experimented with many crops and agriculture in order to find a common link between humanity and nature. His avid love for nature, which fueled his research, is the reason why today’s scientists are able to analyze and build off of his work. George Washington Carver’s research, experiments, and findings in agronomics provided improved farming methods in agriculture, showed his care and respect for his people as he attempted to financially fix the lives of Black farmers, and lastly, his work highlighted groundbreaking accomplishments as an African-American for his time. At the young age of 21, George Washington was just beginning his experience within the military. He was sent out with an Indian scout to spy on the French and gather what information could be useful to win the battle against them. Washington found the troops in a cavern drinking. He learned a very valuable lesson that night. He learned that distraction is the key to success.
Even though all the presidents took the same oath to uphold the same Constitution, times have changed since George Washington was president. Today, with the increase of social media, the growth of the federal government, disagreements between parties, along with all of the current issues, make the president’s job one of the hardest. The job of the president is not impossible, what makes it extremely difficult is that no one in Congress is willing to change the status quo. I think there is so much responsibility placed on the president that it is almost impossible to be truly successful. I think all of the stress the president undergoes daily working with his staff to find solutions to current issues that will benefit most Americans, provides
George Washington was not just "first in war, first in peace and first in the hearts of his countrymen," as he was eulogized by Henry lee, but first among america's chief executives in the minds of many presidential scholars, including Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Joseph Ellis. After leading the continental army to an improbable victory over the world's most powerful empire, Washington faced another daunting challenge to transform ink on parchment into the actually of the American presidency. The power of the modern presidency is not defined by the constitution. It's defined by the Washington presidency. If you read the constitution of the United States on the executive branch and the power of the presidency.

Although unrelatable and underappreciated in the eyes of modern history, George Washington shows his greatness through his character. Contemporary culture often neglects to recognise Washington’s greatness. Sadly, he has become a figure so far removed from the ideals and lives of modern Americans, that his name often provokes boredom. Nonetheless, his character proved to be perfect for what America needed during his life. His greatness was largely due to chance.
Presidents are elected to preform and achieve greatness in America; they serve as the commander and chief of armed forces, and they find ways in coming up with agreements regarding trade and aid along with many other things. Being the president is obviously not an easy task. Have you ever thought about who you thought the best presient of the United States of America was? According to a debate in Taking Sides written by Larry Madaras and James SoRelle they presented an argument between Phillip Shaw Paludan and Melvin E. Bradford debating if Abraham Lincoln was America’s Greatest President. Many people agreed and disagreed whether or not President Lincoln was the greatest; however the sides of two professors were part in the Taking Sides issue of yes or no.

George Washington’s Presidency George Washington, as every American has known since around pre-school, was our nation’s first president. But what if we didn’t have a president? Maybe a king, or even a theocracy? Originally, George Washington thought that maybe a constitution may not work, and a ruling elite may even work better (William P. Kladky). The Constitutional Convention had many long and heated debates on how to best create their government to give equal power to all branches of the government, and a board of three was one of the contenders (William P. Kladky).
Over hundreds of years America has had many presidents, some able to complete the tasks at hand, but many were not worthy of leading this nation. President Abraham Lincoln was one of the few who led the United States of America with great strength and courage. Abraham Lincoln was the best U.S. president because he had a great impact on ending slavery and he was one of the greatest natural strategists and leaders of all time. Abraham Lincoln is considered to be America 's wisest president. Abraham Lincoln, "proved to be a shrewd military strategist and a savvy leader during what became the costliest conflict ever fought on American soil."
