What’s the first thing you think of when you hear Romeo and Juliet? Before reading the drama, I thought it was about two teens from rival families who end up taking their own lives to be together. Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare is one of his most famous tragedies. The purpose of this essay is to examine the tragic mistakes of Romeo and Juliet. Juliet’s father, Capulet, was directly responsible for the tragedies. Capulet was a hot reactor, gave Juliet everything, rushed Juliet into an arranged marriage, and was the reason she met Romeo.
