I have learned a lot throughout the creation of my academic plan! Not only was helpful, but I also enjoyed making it. This academic plan will keep me on track throughout the rest of my college experience here at UNC Charlotte. I will follow it as best as I can and will make changes if needed. One of the main things I learned is that I may need to consider applying for a minor. There are two semesters where I am short of credit hours and I need to fill those spaces. This is because I transferred into UNC Charlotte from Wingate University where I was a Biology major. Those credits that I had taken at that institution that aren't required for Exercise Science are counted as my electives. I have taken all of my electives and LBST courses required. I also learned that my graduation year got pushed back one year. It is now 2021 instead of 2020. …show more content…
Either of these two would go along great with a major in Exercise Science. I would be delighted with either one; however, I am closest to completing the Minor in Biology. I have already taken the foundation courses required and would only need a few more credit hours to complete the minor. Also, having a backup plan is always a great idea. I am passionate about Athletic Training, and I hope I will fulfil my dreams of being one, but if it does not goes as planned, I will most likely take step back and evaluate the situation. If it is just a bump in the road then I will retake courses or add summer semesters; however, if it is something major, then I will consider pursuing a field in Exercise Physiology. I perhaps could change to a major in Biology if something extreme happens. I will choose Biology due to the knowledge and interest that I already hold in this
