Is college outdated or not? The prices of college are very high for what kind of education they're getting, many students drop out because of the stress of paying the expensive prices. I don’t think the price of college is worth it when there are trade schools that are cheaper, but you can have comparable income to someone with a college degree and with substantially less debt. Trade school is less expensive than college. In the state of Maryland, the average cost of a bachelor's degree is $27,940 and for a master's degree $59,684. But in a trade school, it is between $6,000 and $10,000. Trade school isn’t the best option because it’s for a specialty thing and you would only go to school for that one thing.
