An advanced material that I believe would be helpful to the success of our filtration system is woven roving cloth. Woven roving cloth is a heavy and durable fabric that is intertwined by weaving the strips of cloth like a basket. The pros of using woven roving cloth are that it can filter the water through the small holes in between the weaves and it can keep particles out of the filtered water. Other pros of using woven roving cloth in our filtration system is that it is very durable therefore it will be able to withstand thick and sharp particles as well as the weight of water.
