The US government and Lord of the Flies comparisons By: Debbie Quero There is many differences and similarities between Lord of the Flies and the US government, today i will be telling you what they are. In each society it is very different but also very alike. Even though the US government and the lord of the flies look completely different they have a lot in common. The differences between the US government and Lord of the FLies are ,order,food/shelter, land,money, the conflict they each had, and in the society they both were in. In the US government it shows that with order and laws there is peace but if there was no laws or orders it would be chaotic like in Lord of the Flies where they were unorganized and everyone was allowed to do what they wanted .Like in page 54 in Lord of the Flies it states “And i work all …show more content…
In Lord of the Flies the society was different, the people would turn against on each other like how Jack turned against Ralph. In the US government their society was more united. The land they both had were completely different. In the US government the land they had was filled with stores and homes. In Lord of the Flies the land they had was plain, there were no homes or stores there was only trees and grass around, they had to look for useful things to make themselves homes. There was also some similarities for example both societies failed in power, had a lot of chaos, had rebellion in their societies, had leaders, and were unorganized. In Lord of the Flies society failed in power because the chief couldn't do more than some basic interpretations.In US government society failed in power because they couldn’t collect taxes. Also in Lord of the Flies like there was no laws people would rebel like how Jack rebelled against Ralph and his group which caused the death of Simon.
