I have three main goals going that I want to accomplish while attending Farrell. My first goal is to make new friends and meet new people. Although a bunch of my friends will be going to high school with me, I want to have more friends who always have your back. My second goal is to have good grades. I want to be at the top of my class.
Of course, my friends from Liberty Benton will remain some of the best friends that I have ever had and they will remain so for a very long time. In the very near future I will be repeating the process of moving and meeting new people at Miami University. A few people that I know will be going there with me, but I am sure most of the people at the University will be in my shoes. I am not worried about making new friends, more or less excited actually. I feel that the move to Oxford will not be my last move by a longshot.
The world, as well as ourselves, can become confident. I will encourage scholarship, leadership, and good citizenship with my school and community. With my hardwork, not only shall I benefit, but all that I help shall be benefited as well.
It was after the American Revolution. The colonies had just broken free from the reign of Great Britain. The people were weak, tired, but ready to start a new country. There were many arguements about how the government should work: whether or not there should be a strong central government or a weak one. Eventually, a strong central government was decided upon, and then the problem of who was going to run it became a question in everyone’s minds.
I plan to bring my caring attitude to OSU by being a friend to anyone who needs it. Transitioning to college is hard, so I want to befriend people and be there for them. I am extremely accepting of others. I believe that there are positive traits in
I met quite some friends, but once you graduate you loose some of those friends. I 'am a part-time student, due to having a full-time job as a Sales Representative at HSB Insurance Agency. I live with my mother for now until I 'm able to get myself an apartment. My three year old son 's name is AJ, he keeps my hands full on a daily basis. I 've learned so much with him it amazes me.
Every academic institution has a set of objectives that are lined with a purpose. The purpose is to educate individuals to be well -rounded members of society. These individuals may become leaders or simply productive members of society, however it is their education that gives them the backbone to be either. Every organization has a set of goals and a mission that separates it from all other institutions as well as gives it a certain reputation in the community. The overall mission, vision, philosophy, and goals are the underlying purpose of the organization that makes it unique, Iwasiw(2015).
My effort and participation have increased, and my commitment to academics has improved. With this sense of scholarship, I can continue into
Being able to connect with the community and with my peers will be a valuable and unforgettable experience. Not only will I be able to learn from the community, but from my fellow peers, medical students, high school students, and other undergraduates as well. Getting to me mentored by people who have done what I want to do will be enriching, it’ll be an experience that ill cherish forever. Creating long lasting friendships with people who have similar interest.
Spain had confidence that their culture was superior than any other beliefs. If anybody didn’t accept their religion as that, then those people were uncivilized “heathens”. This was the reasoning that justified their colonization of the New World. The Spanish travelled to the New World with the primary goal of “saving” the Indians. By converting them to Christianity the Indians could gain freedom, according to them.
In the next four years of my life at Furman, I plan to cultivate a spirit of discovery, collaboration, and civic engagement. Because Furman is a liberal arts institution I believe that there will be so many chances to discover things I have never even heard of before. I plan on joining multiple organizations including the Heller Service Corps and the Shucker Center for Student Leadership. I believe that being a part of both of these organizations will allow me to not only expand my horizons and learn new things but help people at the same time. I will also be able to discover amazing new things by studying abroad.
I can feel the sun blazing against my skin while sitting on the grass of the Alumni Lawn. I can witness lifelong relationships being forged in the Common Center. I can hear the whispering voices of students collaborating and spreading knowledge in the Central Library. I can imagine myself being an active student at Vanderbilt University.
Part of attending college is experiencing new things and meeting new people. Miami-Dade College holds students from all over the world and the college friendships I am making today are extremely important since most college friendships are long lasting. I strongly believe the experiences I will have in college will make a significant difference in my life. Along with making new friends, the college experience will offer me the opportunity to do some networking as well. Many successful people that have graduated from colleges and universities have credited their success to the connections they made while studying and I truly believe those connections made in the school will facilitate the job search.
College was always one of my long term goals as I continued with my education. Throughout the years I began to work harder and harder so I could secure my future. I knew that getting to college would not be easy. I am about to embark on a four year journey in one of the hardest fields to pursue. I will continue my education as a Nursing major at a four year university.
