It is a way to create positive change and make a difference in the lives of others. I take great pride in serving my community and have found several ways to do so through my involvement in dance classes, babysitting, and serving as a Junior Counselor at camp. As an assistant in dance classes, I help to bring the joy of dance to children in my community, while also providing a positive and welcoming space for them to learn and grow. Through babysitting, I have had the opportunity to support families in my town, providing them with a reliable and trustworthy caregiver for their children. My role as a Junior Counselor at camp has allowed me to give back to my community by providing a safe and fun environment for children to learn new skills, make new friends, and create lifelong memories.
Consistent civic engagement serves to be very prominent in my life. I believe that it is necessary to band together with like-minded individuals, conduct volunteerism, and promote the well-being of a society. The National Honor Society is based off of four pillars; Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Scholarship is one of the most important pillars to me.
