Harriet Tubman has achieved some of the greatest things for a black American at that time period and created a great legacy for future black americans. During this time, slavery was a huge thing and it was almost impossible to become a free black american. Harriet Tubman has made a huge impact on our world, her early life was difficult, but she still achieved great things, and created a historical legacy. Harriet Tubman’s Childhood was a very sad and cruel life. Born in February of 1822, Minty, who is later known as Harriet Tubman, was born and lost both of her sisters at a young age. Not only was she able to escape slavery, she also saved 750 more slaves. She had to deal with things like the Fugitive Slave Act and trackers looking for her as she was a very wanted slave with a bounty on her. Not only that, she led an army as a woman and a black american! She would never stop giving up on her dream of ending slavery. She really showed how you just need to persevere with your dreams and you can accomplish the impossible. Her bravery and dedication to the cause of freedom inspired countless others to take action against slavery. These challenges also created a historical legacy and an inspiration to all people. She paved the way to ending slavery with her life work to inspire people. This inspiration is mostly pointed towards people looking for social justice and equality. Harriet has changed the US in History as she encouraged the abolition of slavery in the US. She also would show that even as a woman she was able to achieve many different things. Tubman impacted the pursuit of equality by doing these great things even with challenges. Her legacy will be passed down from every generation in the
