Like Venus, she conserved her role as the goddess of love, fertility, and beauty, while also being linked with prosperity and victory (Britannica, 2023).

But these goddesses were born from Zeus and practically born into the throne and the role they were given. The goddess of love was born by seafoam when Cronus tossed Uranus’ castrated genitals into the sea. Though there are alternative stories to her rise from seafoam, such as Aphrodite being Zeus’ daughter, but that is most said by Homer in Iliad.

The first story is that she was born the daughter of Zeus and a goddesses names Dione, the titan goddesses, in Iliad. Her 2nd origin story is that she from the sea. It is said that when Cronus went after his father, Uranus, he cut off his father’s genitals, Cronus threw his Uranus’s genitals in the sea near Cythera.
Aphrodite was the most beautiful goddess to live. She is the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation (Simon). The name Aphrodite means “born of the foam” (Wilkinson 38). She was beautiful in terms of looks, but her personality was rather damaged because she was said to be weak and was offended easily (Simon). Aphrodite was a promiscuous goddess, and had multiple affairs with many gods and mortals.
Long ago in ancient greece there were three gods named poseidon, zeus and hades they were all brothers.
