“Outliers: The Story of Success” is one of the non-fiction books written by the famous Canadian author Malcolm Timothy Gladwell. It was first published in the year of 2008 and after observing the popularity of the book, it was republished in the year 2011 with some modifications. The book is based on various real life success stories which are used to explain the term “Outlier”. He has challenged the traditional definition of the word “outlier” with the help of real life success stories.

In the introductory part of the book, the author defines the word “outlier”. According to the author, an outlier is that person who is different from others. In some chapters, outliers also refers to situations and physical things. The definition provided by the author is the foundation of this book. Later in the book, the author challenges traditional belief regarding the term “Outlier”. The book is divided into two parts.
