Many issues arose including representation, slavery, trade, and the presidency but the constitution was finally approved after 17 weeks of debating it. Ratification was debated by two groups that emerged; Federalists and Antifederalists but eventually was ratified. The Bill of Rights was added and included the first 10 amendments, granting Americans many rights.
