Superman, Batman, Firefighters, and role models are all heroes. Some people would also include Hercules in that list. Hercules had a very rough childhood and it only got harder for him, being sentenced to twelve labors Hercules must redeem himself for what he has done. After finishing all twelve labors he gets married only to face even more of life's challenges. According to Greek myth, Hercules went from being unwanted and mad to becoming a husband and a warrior that people still talk about today. Hercules was the last son of Zeus and a mortal women. Abandoned by his mortal mom Athena gave Hercules to Hera Zeus' wife and didn't tell her who he actually was. Hercules then offered his services to pay for what he had done and received what are now know as the twelve labors of Hercules. The twelve labors he was given was some very hard and dangerous tasks. Some of the twelve tasks that was included was to kill Kidd 1 the Lernaian Hydra, to capture the Erymanthian Boar, to kill the Cretan Bull, and to capture Kerberos from hades. So you can definitely say he had quite a chore list. After Hercules completed the twelve labors he was given he met Deianira and fell in love with her. Hercules figured out that Deianira was already taken by Acheloos the river God. Hercules knowing he had the love of Deianira wrestled Acheloos and beat him, he then married the princess herself. Going the there chosen home then encountered a centaur named Nessos who carried people across the river Eunos. After Deianira, Hercules went across to find the centaur trying to rape his wife and Hercules didn't hesitate to kill the centaur. Before the centaur died he got Deianira to take a vile of his poisonous blood by telling her it would make Hercules love her like he used to if she felt like he was losing interest in her.
