Day 7 Theme: I think that the theme in this book is that power can drive people crazy. For example it made the prime minister so paranoid that he took the job of any retired minister. Power also affected the lesser magicians. They aligned themselves with the commoners to take over the government and rule. Demons were also sick of the magician’s power over them so they tricked the commoners and magicians alike to summon their spirit into their human body. Next those demons summoned more demons to take over the whole world. Day8 conflict: The only conflict right now is were the main character Halli can 't go to the gathering because he kicked his older brother into a pile of cow manure. Halli wants to go to the gathering because he wants to see the world and the gathering is a way to do that because everyone in the valley is coming to his family 's territory. This would have been Halli’s first time but he kicked his brother. I think that he will sneak in. Day9 setting: My book takes place in a valley. It has a sea at one end that extends into a river that reaches out to the end of the u shaped valley. There are mountains surrounding the valley. Day11 plot: First Halli sneaks around the village making trouble. This has a consequence though, so when it is almost time for the gathering he is banned from going. Thinking that Halli is a slave they order him to retrieve it for them, but Halli fills it with mixed urine from the tanning shop and gives it to them. After that they drink it and get sick.
