The commencement of the seven days. This all began to be something when a man named Travis Boyette a convicted serial rapist who is responsible for the death of Nicole, finds himself guilty and decides to make his way to the priest for a confession on the first day of this week. Knowing that likely he would be going back to jail and given himself the death penalty. Though he knew this didn’t matter because he was already diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of an egg that was at stage four. Meaning he had no hope. All he wanted to do is save himself the least bit from the shame he had gotten from killing the girl since it was never in his intentions the man was a rapist and not a murderer. Anyways, the story moves on to a character who holds an important role in this story and this character is Joey Gamble the star witness, the liar who had helped make the perfect frame in order to hang Donte on the wall of shame where he did not belong. Gamble was a pathetic man who ruined his football career with steroids built himself up to obesity and worked down at the supermarket and well had kids who didn’t want to see him and a wife who had divorced him. He was a loser in society’s world and what most losers do is drink away their lives and so he did just that. On this day the first day of this week a man came by his house. Knocked on the door and presented himself as a detective who had asked him to meet him for a drink. Mr. Flaks was too busy trying to find ways to free Donte although his answers were right there on the other line. The priest not knowing what to do decides to call his friend the lawyer to see if he could give any advice, however, the lawyer told him to drop it. This is not something that he could do instead he continued searching for answers when all of the sudden Boyette called with a time to meet him in a couple days. Nothing much happened day four other then Flaks working on his case and neither did much happen on day five since Boyette never did show up which didn’t come to much surprise to the priest.
